Congratulations, officers! On April 1, 2024, three STPS officers officially earned their stripes and got promoted. Staff Sergeant Dale Austinson was given the honour of being the first ever appointed to that newly established position. He had served as Sergeant and supervised staff at the Lillooet office for the last 10 years. Sergeant Len Isaac has assumed the role of supervising in Lillooet where he had served as a constable officer for the last 17 years. And, lastly, Sergeant Mitch Thevarge has taken on his position of supervising the Mount Currie detachment following a lengthy 12 years of service as a constable officer.
