Recruit Constable Jamie Warren joins STPS

Recruit Constable Jamie Warren was hired by the STPS on August 28, 2023.  He expects to graduate on July 5, 2024 as a full-fledged police officer from the Police Academy at the Justice Institute of BC in Vancouver, BC.  Jamie has deep roots in Lillooet, BC where he has lived for 35 years.  He is a graduate of Lillooet Secondary School and of Okanagan College.  At Okanagan College he fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming an Automotive Service Technician. He successfully owned and operated an automotive repair facility for a five-year period.  Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, he dedicated five years to serving with the Lillooet Volunteer Fire Department.  Currently, he is beginning a new chapter in his life as a Recruit Constable with the Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police Service.  Jamie is driven by the inspiration he draws from his hardworking wife, Crystal Warren, who is a nurse at the Lillooet District Hospital, and from their two daughters.  His personal interests are as diverse as his career journey.  He channels his passion for hockey not only into playing but also into coaching kids’ hockey. Outside of hockey, Jamie enjoys golfing, hiking with his family, and building and racing cars—a lifelong passion that began in his youth.  Jamie’s commitment to his community and to his family is matched only by his dedication to his personal interests, making him a well-rounded and engaging individual both professionally and personally
