Over the winter of 2021-2022, the STPS obtained a 21\u2019ft skipper canoe. In a naming contest, St\u2019at\u2019imc community member Lyle Leo named the canoe, \u201cTselpu\u2019lm\u2019ecw\u201d, which translates to Daybreak. He then donated the winning prize to the Xaxli\u2019p youth group, who held the 1<sup>st<\/sup> canoe journey mid-summer of 2022.
